During the Covid lockdown, I asked my dear friend Rob Spearing, a composer of beautiful music, to write a piece celebrating the liberation from Fear which I feel the Global Cooling and Irrigation System can bring to us all.

A text from Shakespeare suggested itself – ‘Fear No More The Heat Of The Sun’. This was originally an Elegy, but I am using it in three languages to welcome the fact that we longer need to fear Heat.

We can control Heat. To get warmer we can use safe combustion, to get cooler we can use the new inventions. In scientific terms, these are ‘heat exchangers’ which can move heat to a safe place.
